John R. Collins
John Collins is the Chief Executive Officer for Stayhealthy, Inc.
Born in New Zealand and raised in England, Mr. Collins was exposed to the diverse cultures, politics and economics of Europe and other parts of the globe.
Although his background was in accounting and finance systems, his entrepreneurial spirit led him into the entertainment industry.
In the early 70's he started Golden Image Musical Products and formed Superstition Records and Golden Image Management and was involved with many of the leading music businesses and artists of the 1970's and 80's. Mr. Collins directly managed such artist as The Screen Idols, signed to EMI Parlophone in England and The Actors. He also managed Record Producer Dennis MacKay and oversaw the productions of artists such as Judas Priest, Tygers of Pang Jang, Stanley Clarke, Al DiMeola, Shooting Star, Bachman Turner Overdrive, etc. True to his entrepreneurial ways Mr. Collins was responsible for producing one of the first music videos in 1979 with Dave Eager a well-known U.K. DJ.
Due to the increase in work load in the United States Mr. Collins relocated to the United States in the early 80's where he added a new company to his portfolio of companies; New Image Public Relations.
New Image Public Relations specialized in grass roots Public Relations and was involved with many recognized “breaking” emerging artists and businesses. The company worked in booking artists, video production and television production. The later shows of MV3 and all of the Video Beat shows were overseen by Collins / New Image PR, acting as Executive and Associate Producer. Specials with Pink Floyd's Roger Waters and Jim Ladd, local radio DJ, were also produced. The company grew rapidly and diversified into the fields of emerging companies and fund-raising for new start-up companies including the arena of publicly held companies.
During the early 90's he was introduced to a company American Technologies Group, Inc., which was insolvent having a portfolio of commercial real estate, car leases, etc. He restructured the company and turned it into a holding company including publishing of Final Frontier Magazine, a shut down oil and gas well which was turned on and sold for a profit, a gold and silver mill in Nevada and an R & D company specializing in emissions reduction and refrigerant replacement. The company grew to $3,000,000 plus a year in revenues under his control as Chairman and CEO and had a market valuation in excess of $180,000,000.
A personal family experience exposed him to health care in the United States and generated a strong desire to create health care tools for all individuals at affordable prices. To fulfill this desire he handed over control of American Technologies Group and launched Appropriate Health Services.com, Inc. which acquired Stayhealthy.
